Keeping their big names. Sagan signed a while ago for 3 more years.

Sure this seals their sponsorship renewal at the year end.

    I really like Liquigas.

  • That's about as much as a mid to lower table Premier League player gets. Not a bad gig.

Agree about Liquigas, they might (allegedly) be a bit iffy now and again but they've been in the sport for years, so fair play.

    Did I say allegedly?
  • That's good money, but a little less than Wiggo no?

£29k a week is still actually pretty good money by Premier League standards - it's the big names at the big clubs that get six figures and the like. Bet you most of Everton's first team is on £29k a week or less.

He's probably better off than most Premier League footballers, as being Italian he probably doesn't pay any tax.

    NIBALI TO LEAVE LIQUIGAS

Amadio, the manager, says they couldn't agree terms.

Shame, looks like he is after money.

“It won’t be easy to be without Vincenzo. We always considered that he’s a true product of Liquigas-Cannondale, but it is also true that there are several proposals and there really is a lot of money.”

Apparently, he said, [Big bucks, no talent] Astana and the BMC Racing Team are offering €2.5 million.

“Our offer was made (1.8 million Euros per year), we gave the boy time to properly evaluate our proposal, but we have not received any response,” team manager Roberto Amadio told tuttobicwebi.it. “For us the matter is closed.”

“We are all professionals: we and him. There are not problems now and there will be [at the TdF].”

EDIT: and possibly a Kreuziger return to Liquigas?
