Hello all,
Being new to MTB, and a bit on the heavy side (6'1, 18+ stone), which pedals would be strongest to take my weight and most suited to my wide flat feet?
I appreciate the help, thanks.

I have Nanos on one bike and MG1s on the other. The MG1s are cheaper and lighter, but I'd say that the Nanos 'feel' slightly bigger and grippier, which is down to a slightly better shape. Both are excellent. I'd have thought both would take your weight - but at just under 12st I'm not able to put that to the test.Vitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

I use Nano's, they are excellent. Really grippy with a nice large platformTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

MG1's are a great pedal but the Nanos grip a little more and feel a little bigger.
You can get the nano's for £33 here: http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&t=2&c=84&p=940&0 -
this may shed a little light on the 2 pedals mentioned.www.bearbackbiking.com

I got a set of On-One Thinny's for my foray into the world of flats - and I'm mighty impressed with them. Nice big, amazingly grippy platform, very light and extremely thin.
They're the same as these;

But got mine on a special offer for £40 8)
I'm thinking of building up a little 4X/jump bike and think I'll get the same pedals even if the £80 CRC version is all I can find...they're good."Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes
