Easy answer question time.

What way up do the black oil seals go in a Reba fork? I'm in the process of servicing an old set of eBayed Rebas that came as a box of bits but can't find a definite answer.

The SRAM tech manual mentions the 'grooved side' but you could argue that they both are, can't find anything on here or other forums either.

post a picture of the way you think and we can tell you if it is right or not.

saves having to guess what you are talking about.

If you are talking about the centre seals on this image then the grooved side is quite distinct. It is the bottom image that shows the grooved side.
