Last time I stuck it out all day, policemen came. Although to be fair, I was stood outside that school.

Bracknell Forest is a big area and not actually a forest. Includes Bracknell town centre. Was that where the fun was? If so, not surprised you gave up at 6pm though. Rough as hell during the night.
