10spd Front end, 9spd Rear end

Hi, Can I run a 10 speed crank set with a 9 speed front mech, rear mech and cassette, oh and 9 speed shifters? I dont have the funds to swap it all over in one go and need a new crank set?

Some front crank sets actually say for 9/10 speed. So, they must be the (slightly) thinner rings and it must be fine for both chains.
I'd guess you should be fine, as long as your using a 9spd chain of course.

Generally works fine - 10 speed chains are fine too.
