Hi All

New to the forum so here goes with my first post!

I was wondering if anyone rides rigid forks off road (light trails not DH extreme type), seen the boardman urban mtb and wondered how rigid forks are for riding? Or if anyone has boardman urban mtb?

Cheers

You save a lot of weight, but generally reduced comfort and ability over harder terrain. Good options for very skilled riders, easier terrain and weigh weenies.

One of my mate has done BKB with a rigid fork. So yeah it is not a problem but matter of comfort and control. Also you will look a bit out of place with a rigid fork when everyone is on either a front or full suss.

Why not get a hardtail and then lockout the front? You have more options opened up to you if you wish to go for harder trails in the future.
