What seat like a Specialized Rival?

Borrowed my wife's bike the other day & it had one of these on (143 width) and I was amazed how comfy it was.

I'm looking for something similar shape, but not quite the boat anchor in weight it seems to be. Does anyone know the Specialized range well enough to suggest something?

You could try the Avatar. It looks to be a similar shape but with a bit cut out to help ease the pressure on your old fella. It comes with a nice gel padding, is a reasonable weight and has a range of widths to suit (if you go to a Spesh selling shop they will measure your asre using memory foam (although apparently 90% of folks have sit bones that need a 143mm saddle).

I also have a Riva that came with my Spesh bike back in late 2009. When I first bought the bike I slated the Riva and bought the Avatar...ahh, what a choice, off I went happy as Larry...then about 5 months ago I unearthed the old Riva and stuck it onto my hybrid (I was recovering from injury and building up the miles). I couldn't believe how nice the saddle was for such a basic model. Maybe that shows things can change, although I suspect the Riva hasn't but my asre has!
