I currently have Mavic crossride wheelset.
Haven't had any problems with them but havr got it in my head to upgrade.
is the upgrade from these to say hope pro evo with mavic xm819 rims be a worthwhile investment?

If you want UST yes. If you want a tougher or lighter wheel, not really.
What bike and budget, and what do you weigh?0 -
Not overly fussed with tubeless but would be interested to try.
The wheels are on last years Marin xm8 140 travel.
I weigh 82kilos
My thinking behind upgrade was for a stiffer feeling wheel, lighter always bonus. My budget would be £450 .0 -
I'd take a look at something like this:

Light, stiff and tough, I tested them last year, great wheels.0 -
They look real good
I understand loosing weight at the wheel is probably the most noticeable on acceleration but would a better wheel transform the ride feel or is it just for strength and weight ?0 -
It does seem to make the bike feel nimbler, and quicker to gain speed. The Crossrides are about 1950g, so quite a big saving, and these are stiffer too.0
