Basically it seems if you have a new bike it must be FGSS or you must be a woman on a Pashley.

What do you reckon the GI is on that? Must be huge...
Also, Pashleys, Pashleys everywhere....0 -
I like the way they tuck Paul Smith in the middle. He wins by virtue of not dressing like a twit and by actually riding a bike that looks like it actually gets ridden.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
Voodoo Bizango - 2014 - Dead - Hit by a car
Vitus Sentier VRS - 20170 -
Either way, you have to be dressed like an idiot.
Come on, EKE, don't be bitter just because these cats are rocking some cool scenes.0 -

Indeed; wonder how stiff the soles of his loafers are?

Couldn't agree more. GRRRR. Whilst I have no problem with some women choosing to ride Pashleys, it does not necessarily mean that just because you don't, you can't be stylish. (NB I am not that stylish, but feel sure that other race-bike-riding women are). I personally think the women in the Rapha ads look pretty stylish as well as feminine, whilst still riding proper bikes.0 -

Thats just the media images at the moment, most of those didn't look like they'd manage much more than a very slow pootle though a park, in the same way the clothes for fashion shoots is again trying too hard.
Some cyclists do manage to have a certain style about them, even with lycra though i'm guessing not to Jo/Jane on the street.
Once it gets warmer do get folks in nice clothes In Bushy Park, be that dresses/suits or what not.
At the moment every one is layered under big jackets and such.0 -
