Wanting to buy a new Full Suss, but which?

Hi, i have a GT Avalanche 3.0 HYDRO 2011, but looking to upgrade close to the end of the year when the 2012 prices drop a little.

i have about £1500 to play with, so not a great deal but hoping to get a decent bike still with that.

i am out on a weekend only, mainly sundays, as i work and have a child and all the stuff that comes with that.

i use my bike for trails and downhill parts, but mainly XC. i was after a full suss as i think its time to step up, plus my ass is taking a pounding lol

i was thinking of buying the Trance x4, as i have heard only good things about that bike.



but i thought i would ask your expert opinions first.

i was looking at that bike but it was about £1700 ish when i was looking, hence why i went for the X4.
