What frame will not break?

I have an addiction to speed and air but I have the usual problem of money.
I am 6 feet tall (1.8m) and weigh 150lbs (65kg) and have quite long arms. :?
What I would ideally like is a 7, 8 or 9 speed gearing system with V (preferable, strangely) or hydraulic brakes (not mechanical disc) and also with a frame that would withstand a 6ft jump at most. Also I would like the bike to be under 30lbs (14kg).
Is this too much to ask for a new, low cost bike or is it cheaper to build it from parts?
Thanks

My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.

Or, depends how determined you are to break it.0

So what is your money?0

If its air and speed why not get yourself a jump bike with gears something like a DMR Reptoid, Winstanleys had DMR Transition frames on offer for £150 a few weeks back.0

i have £300 right now but i do have wheels, chain and forks that are suitable if i custom build. My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.0

i got a spare XCR LO and a Nitro Mach 1 on the front with a Shimano hub and a cheap rear wheel with a Quando hub. Surprisingly, after the things it has been through there's almost no damage. My god road cycling is scary! For £300 you will get a frame, but very little else. My advice would be to sell what you have and put to your budget. A new bike will be the best (and only) bet, I think a build is out of the question.
If you can stretch to something like this:

You'll be rewarded with a tough bike with good parts. Is no jump or downhill bike, but will tackle small drops and harder riding.0 -
I'm more looking at something like the Voodoo Bakka - if that is a good bike, then ill aim for that specific bike.My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.0

So is it a jump bike you want? You certainly won't get a bike under 30lbs!0
