Hi Folks,
I have an OnOne inbred 29er with the following wheels:
http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/WPOOXC/on_o ... r_wheelset
Basically these are 700c wheels width 23.5mm, depth 19.5mm with 32 spokes. I intend to use this bike as a touring bike, but have just realised I have no idea how strong the wheels are likely to be. In the past I've used a suspension-less old school 26" wheel mountain bike as a tourer and had no problems at all. Am I likely to have any issues with this new bike? If so any advice on what to carry to get me out of trouble?
Oh and not sure how much difference it makes but I'm running 2" Big Apple tyres on the bike...
Thanks
Andy

By touring, do you mean road and gravel tracks? If that's the case those wheels should be fine assuming they've been built well.0

Hi Dave,
Yes mostly on road with a bit of forest/other unmade roads and bridleways, certainly no trail centre type stuff, or big downhills etc....
Thanks

They should be fine for that kind of use0
