Tick Tick Ticking

Is the noise from the front? If yes, feel for loose spoke (adjust); computer magnet touching sender (adjust); and/or when braking, a bit of ali sticking out from rim (200 - 400 wet & dry [use dry] on a bit wood sand smooth) then fit softer blocks like Kool-Stop Salmon, as that way the blocks wear instead of the rim.The Wife complained for months about the empty pot of bike oil on the hall stand; so I replaced it with a full one.0

It could be wheel flex which leads to the rims hitting the brake blocks. Throw the quick release on the front to open up the pads and see if that stops the noise. If it does, then might be worth checking if the spokes need tightening.0

Just been in the garage to check some of these ideas. Nothing obvious. Sender Ok, spokes feel OK. Spun wheel and it only seems to occur at slow revs even with blocks released!!0

May be front wheels bearings - when you are going faster the wind noise/tyre noise cancels out the ticking.
Worth swapping wheels and seeing if anything changes.0 -
