Narrowed it down to two,
Canyon AL 6.0
Planet X Carbon Rival
The question is being a bit on the large size 108kg, on reading the information on the planet x web site some carbon frames they make are only for 100kg max, no information for the max on the Rival
does anyone ride a Planet X Rival with the same weight as myself,or is the Canyon AL a better option.

just bought a carbon pro rival, it seems pretty sturdy, im 80kg so cant really comment any more than that. brilliant value for money though and rides like a dream.0

I think you would be better with a proper metal bike instead of these new fangled plastic ones ;-)Yellow is the new Black.0

Given Planet X a call not really a weight restriction on the rival they have someone 130kg + who works for them riding the same bike, should have given them a call before posting ,
but still have to choose carbon or alloy never had a carbon before.
