giro is a reputable brand, and there are regulations setting safety standards that helmets must conform to, so performance should not be an issue
but i'd try on a few different helmets first
fit varies between brands/models, and head shapes differ too
buying untried is risky as some places will not exchange helmetsmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
