Cannondale CAAD8 105 2010

Evans website lists the weight as 6.27kg but this seems very light????? compared to 8.94kg listed for the Scott Speedster S20 2011

Can anyone tell me how much it really weighs? (pref 54cm frame!)

Need to decide on a new bike soon! Why are there so many choices?????

Not 6.27kg, I know that much. I'd say somewhere around 9kg's

9kg with pedals sounds about right to me

I have a CAAD5 (lighter if anything I'd guess) with Dura-Ace and very light wheels, it's about 7.8kg. 9kg for a CAAD8 with basic wheels sounds about right. Put decent wheels on a CAAD8 and it's a good bike.

9kg sounds about right, I have a CAAD8 2010 boggo model with Sora and a triple made of iron.

But if it's got the basic Maddux wheels then bin them straight away 'cos they are garbage and weigh a ton, I had no end of problems with mine breaking spokes (mind you, I'm a chunky monkey) so bought some cheap Fulcrum R7's.

But the bike itself is ace and rides just beautifully.

It's just a hill. Get over it.
