Trek Top Fuel 9 - Pads?

I have a 2010 Top Fuel 9. Didn't really get used last year as I was overseas and as a result I'm only just doing my first brake pad change which is long overdue. Bit of a noob when it comes to disc brake systems; firstly which pads do I need for XT ti custom? (standard fit) and are there any tricks/pitfalls in swapping them out? do the hydraulics need bleeding and topping up? You can tell I haven't done any research, BR is my first port of call! Cheers.

    XT ones (check the model on the caliper). and follow the manual. but use the old pads to push on to push the pistons home.
