New to Road Cycling - anyone nearby?

Hi folks,

We are just getting our first road bikes :mrgreen: in an attempt to shed a few 30something pounds :oops:

Just wondered if there is anyone near Wilmslow, Cheshire in a similar boat who would like to meet up for rides :?:

    Hi

    I'm wilmslow based and a couple of us often ride out on Saturday mornings (long rides training up to the cat and fiddle etc)

    I also ride most Sunday's with the Macc wheelers on their Sunday easy ride - a real great group, mixed bunch from 13 years old to a few too old to mention :P

    Pace is always to accommodate the slowest..normal ride for 2 hours then lunch and then 90 mins back.
    Starts are either broken cross (Macc) or Ludlow car park (wilmslow)

    This week (13th may) is wilmslow - why not join in ????
