Have you looked at the 2xl & 3xl stock on sportdirect & field&trek websites? There are usually some good deals on some decent* brands.

(* Be wary of Karrimor & Muddy Fox on those two sites - not what they once used to be.)

  • I have just bought a jacket from this place, fast delivery and it seems to be a decent quality item:-

the jacket I bought is this one:-

Hope this helps. most of their stuff is in larger sizes.

I have one of these, very good performance, breathable (to a point) so not too boil-in-the-bag (like my Karrimor)

I use large but they go up to 5xl
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

Try any USA-based sports store. You'll need to look in the 'small' sizes though.....

Rather than water proof get a reasonbale windproof or good, breathable/shower proof jacket like a gore etc.
how often do you atchaly ride in heavy rain?
The wind proof stuff gives me enoghf protection for the comute and is a lot more breathable.
the more rain proof it is generaly the more boil in the bag it is unless you pay mega bucks, and if you sweat a lot they will not be able to cope with that anyway.
the main thing for me is keeping warm as I always get wet if not with rain it is sweat.
