Looking for a starter bike for my wife

All,
This is my first post on here having recently got into road biking.
Last night I let my wife have a go as she is interested in getting into it as well and she loved it.
So my question is is there anywhere I can get 2nd hand bikes from apart from eBay? I am only looking to spend about £150 on it as it is her first and I want to make sure she still enjoys it after a couple of outings.
If anyone knows of anywhere or if anyone has anything then please let me know.

As i've said to others, you (or your wife) are more likely to stick with cycling, if you get them decent equipment in the first place. I try to make sure my wife has as good or better than me. I can cope with heavier, less reliable equipment better than my wife, who may get quite nervous going out on stuff that I wouldn't ride. I can imagine her reaction if I gave her a bike and said "you can have that, it's not good enough for me".

There may be 2nd hand bikes at your LBS. you can go there and get advice from the shop on the bike.
