Clip-on SKS mudguards - fit Specialized Sirrus?

Hi there, thinking of buying these SKS clip-on mudguards for my Specialized Sirrus hybrid: ... 2b0s80p391
As the Sirrus has 28mm tyres, it would be the wide rather than narrow version I would go for.

I like the thought that they are light and should be relatively easy to fit and then take off again when not needed. I am just wondering if anyone can tell me 1) if they definitely will fit a Sirrus, and 2) if they are any good.


  • I used them on the Sirrus Comp 2008 that I recently sold, easy to fit, fitted well and do a good job. You could take them off when not needed but I wouldn't recommend it as once you have them in place you won't want to go through that job again plus they're so small and light I didn't see the need to remove them ever.
