i've finally managed to finish my Scott Addict build after 2 warranty issues with my 7900 shifters.
Thanks to Jonny from Pedal Power in West Calder for all the warranty help
Weighed in at 14.9lbs including pedals and carbon cage, pretty impressive i think, spec follows the pictures......

Frame and fork: 2011 Scott Addict R3
Bars: Zipp Service Course SL shallow drop 44cm
Stem: Zipp Service Course SL 110mm
Seatpost: Easton EC90 carbon 31.6
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR Fibra 135g
Shifters: Dura ace 7900
Brake calipers: Dura ace 7900
Chainset: Dura ace 7900 53/39 172.5
Front mech: Dura ace 7900 braze-on
Rear mech: Dura ace 7900
Wheels: Gigantex 38mm carbon clincher rim/ Dati hubs/ Sapim bladed race spokes 1370g
Cassette: Dura ace 7800 11-23
Tyres: Michelin Pro3 Service Course
Chain: KMC X10SL
Pedals: Dura ace 7900 carbon
Extras....
Zipp carbon top cap
Lizard skins DSP bartape
Planet X matt carbon cage 22g
Dura ace 7900 cable kit
I still have to ride it so i dare say itll require some tweeking here and there, i'd like to lower the bars a bit and push the saddle back a tad too i think. Only thing still to get are some lightweight skewers which shoud knock off another 75g or so!
Let me know what you think, understated and stealth but i really like it.
Cheers

Sweet ride, really like the white on black colour scheme following down the forksPain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

You should use some Weedol Path clear to get rid of that moss.0

Oh yes bike looks great, I used the same Zipp Service Course in my best bike. At first I thought it flexed a bit too much but now i love it.0

Nice R3-based build, certainly looks a lot better than my stock R3 and weighs about the same as my blinged-up R1!"Mummy Mummy, when will I grow up?"

Cheers dude, I believe the R2 and R3 frames are identical, i think the R1 is around 80g lighter if i'm not mistaken?0 -

I used to have the Zipp contour bars and 145 stem which is definitely stiffer but only marginally lighter. I decided carbon bars aren't for me as one little off and they are in the bin, its happened once too often so its Aluminium all the way for me from now on! :roll:0 -
where did you get the wheels built? mind saying how much?0

Rims and hubs were bought from eBay but i believe Wheelsmith.co.uk also use these rims.
Will PM you the details.....0 -
EPO, well balanced and nice built!
The 38mm rim depth should be the utmost depth with this bike and they look nice and clean on your bike.
Enjoy it.0 -

I think the R3 is actually slightly lighter than the R2 due to less paint The R1 is a different carbon weave and mine has an ISP. Ride quality seems quite different but I think a lot of that is down to wheels/saddle."Mummy Mummy, when will I grow up?"

Very nice build. 8)
Could you also forward me details regarding the wheels Thanks.0 -
Hi, very nice build.
I have an addict r3 to, just not as light as yours. I've been making it a bit lighter by changing seatpost, saddle and wheels. So its down to 16.7 ibs (7,6kg). I am thinking about changing the handlebar. Do you know the weight of the original handlebar om R3? Its Scott Road Pilot Pro,Oversize 31.8mm, Anatomic ?0 -

Hi there,
I dont for sure but it would be easy to save 100-150g here. I saved 100g on the post, 100g on the saddle, the wheels and groupset items are going to give you the biggest saving.0
