I think they're last year's models, but still a pretty good buy.

They are still only a few quid less than the Mojito though and, tbh, that's probably a nicer (lighter and smaller), if less flashy helmet.
That said, if you fit these C50s they are a great price. There is a white version (only a few left - again only medium) for even less - http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/HEK ... m_(48_58cm)
Also, if the Sky lids have the same sort of marking as the Mojito, if you don't like the Sky advertising (and who would ) it should be easy enough to peel off.Faster than a tent.......0 -
Does anyone actually know if the 'SKY' branding/livery is just an adhesive sticker and can be peeled off? I'm talking about the K10 specifically.
Thanks.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -
If you wnat a non sky version of the K10 go to CRC as they have red, blue and silver i think for £68 with the £12 discount.0

Thanks! I'm not fussed about the colours just the 'SKY' branding. I've emiled PX who've confirmed they can be removed.
Also, out of principal I wouldn't buy from the CRC but thanks for the info.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -
Mine turned up from PX this morning just as I was leaving for work - first impression were very good and I'll post again later once I've got it fitted correctly.
The Sky branding looks like it will be very easy to remove if it's the kind of thing that bothers you. The logo almost looks and feels like it's been cut from a particularly hard-wearing sticky address label0 -

You won't be disappointed the K10 is a quality helmet.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -

My Team Sky Vertigo (C50) arrived this morning from Planet X. I had it fitted to my head within a couple of minutes (so easy!) and it literally took me 30 seconds to peel off the Sky logos. Very comfortable - love it to bits, particularly as the cycling club I belong to ride in black and sky blue kit. I'm sure it will be just as easy to peel off the Sky stickers on the K10 model.___________________________________________

My vertigo arrived this afternoon. tbh I wouldn't say it's any more or less comfortable than my old helmet but it does feel more secure and better quality.
Excellent service from Planet X and...wait for it DPD who delivered it. Ordered yesterday morning and it arrived this afternoon 3 minutes into the time slot given by DPD.0
