Good guy - Stephen Fry (witty without being overtly rude and very articulate) John Bishop (I know many will disagree but I like the guy and was really impressed by his Sport Relief challenge) Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas (met them as they are quite regular visitors to the Children's Hospital of Wales, lovely couple even though I wanted to hate him ;-) )
W@nkers - Sarah Millican, comedians who rely entirely on swearing to be 'funny' i.e. in the mould of Chubby Brown. Anyone out of things like TOWIE.

    Good - Sean Lock.

    you're taking the piss right?

pretty much all celebrities are 100% fake. There aren't really that many 'good guys'

    Edit: didn't know this forum had a word-filter? I definitely didn't type "wee-wee" !

He is in my Good category because he makes me laugh, is not offensive and has done nothing to make me dislike him. He makes me feel good, so he is definitely in my good category.

More specific in the vein of the OP,

Good - Lots of charity work that goes unreported.
    Bad - Hitler.

This really, really, really hurts because I hate him as a football manager:

    Good: Harry Redknapp

Bad: Almost every local TV and Radio "star", all reality show contestants, most one-hit/gig/show wonders. Essentially the "don't you know who I am" crowd.

Never "got" Alexi Sayle - some serious stuff he has done was quite good but as for being funny - I severely doubt it young man!

It occurs to me that approx. 75 % of the above listed names I have never heard of. On the basis that celebity is in the eye of the beholder the above named are as far as I concerned nonentities, therefore neither good or bad.

If we're talking first hand experience then:-
Good guy = Timothy West, a lovely guy who threw a reunion party for everyone involved in the play what he was in. Also has a lunatic and lovely wife.

W**ker = Jim Davidson, for turning the air blue in front of a load of school children during rehearsals. Nothing likeable at all about the man

Never met T West but can +1 on the Jim Davidson front, can't say why as it might give too much away about me, needless to say I thougth he was a total W on more than one occasion and I had the satisfaction of putting him in his place.
