ecxept the price and the rings. would the cheaper one be ok for mountain biking or is it weaker.

    The difference is only the ring sizes, the fact that the middle is alloy not Carbon combo, and you get a natty chain guard. One is touring, other standard Mtb. Same arms/bb/axle though.

    not to fussed about the carbon combo ring and the other ring as im thinking about going 1x9 or 2x9 so the only difference would be weight.
