Roof Rack

So ive got a rear mounted bike carrier currently but think i'd like to invest in getting a roof rack. as weve now got a smaller car if we go away a roof box might be needed.

Other than Thule/Toyota direct are there any other brands to concider?

Can anyone reccomend some good online/local (to bracknell/reading/sandhurst areas) retailers?

    Whispbar Aero from roofbox.co.uk. I have a whispbar x-rails (the kind that goes between rails) and its totally silent on the roof, and I leave it on all the time, seems to have no effect on the mileage either. Its carried some pretty heavy loads no problems, an is as solid as the day I fitted it. Only thing to note is that as it has a large Aero profile you can only fit T bolt fittings to it (in my experience) which limits the accessories you can fit.

    Cheers for the link, they dont seem to do do atera. *edit* for our car

    Whispbar are on there though so will give them a look too.
