Stupid Head - why the flip do I listen to myself when picking PTP. My heart has said Sagan for the last month!!!

Anyone pick the winner? Good ride from that man!! (not gonna try and spell it...)

Gilbert had to take that up way too early... wouldn't put it past him to win FW or LBL after that.

Very cool head from Gaspa. Look at him looking at Sagan and waiting once Sagan opens his sprint.

PTP Carnage with J rod being rubbish.

    Sagan pickers win out.

Better than the stinky cheese you get for winning Paris-Camembert.
  • Freire 4th. Would have been nice to see him on the podium at least after that effort.

Great ride by Oscar, holding out until 90m left.

Good to see form from Gilbert.

    Good job Gasparotto, congratulations.

Valverde in that front group but at the back.

Crash to take out Cunego is ridiculous.

Jelle - pretty damn good that man. Should see him figure again in whatever GT he rides in.

I think you're being far too harsh there Rick.

The burden of my PTP pick weighed very heavily on such young shoulders

Crash to take out Cunego? Do you mean the crash where Cunego cut up Nordhaug for no reason causing them to both go down?

He was probably pondering which victory celebration to do. Hmm, shall I do the funky hamster or the... oh bugger it, Gasparotto's won!

    Gasparotto wanted it more.

Sagan lost 2nd too because he didn't want it enough.

Yeeessss!!!! Moving up the PTP leaderboard thanks to Sagan. Art and Rick, I'm coming to get ya.

Now your being silly. Gasparotto won it because he rode up the Cauberg faster.

If anything, you could say that Sagan went a bit too early and Gasparotto was a little more patient. Maybe Sagan wanted it too much.

Having had another look at it, it may not have been entirely Cunego's fault. An Astana rider (Iglinsky?) swerved into Cunego first.

Cool, if that's all there is to it, look out for me next year. I'd really, really and I mean really want to win Amstel!

Maybe one of them was consulting their route marker on their top tube, just to make sure they were at the finish!
