Looking at buying some 2.2 Rubber Queens, but there seems to be a huge jump in price for the Black Chili compound version - on average £50 compared to £15 for the non black chili wire bead.
Is it that much different?

I haven't tried the Rubber Queens but I run Mountain King Supersonics on the race bike and MK Protections (with black chilli) on the trail bike and they are far lighter, grippier, lighter and grippier than the std wire or kevlar bead. They cost a lot more but if you are serious they are worth the extra cash! Did I mention they weigh less and offer more grip?0
