I quote from the Noticeably Stouter Book of General Ignorance;
"Until recently the slowest speed of light (through sodium at -272 oF) was just over 60kph (38 mph) : slower than a bicycle"
So there you go!

Theoretically then you should be able to see the back of your own head when cycling at night as most councils use sodium lighting although you would have to cycle in a very narrow part of the spectrum of course0

...I think the bobble on the brightly coloured bobble hat would help to filter out other parts of the spectrum.my isetta is a 300cc bike0

Isn't Sodium near Birmingham somewhere? would be a bit parky at -272 with wind chill - buff and a skull cap for sure, over boots, long fingered gloves, the works.Fixed gear for wet weather / hairy roadie for posing in the sun.
What would Thora Hurd do?0 -
