I quote from the Noticeably Stouter Book of General Ignorance;

"Until recently the slowest speed of light (through sodium at -272 oF) was just over 60kph (38 mph) : slower than a bicycle"

So there you go!
FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

    Are you suggesting it's possible to cycle at over 38mph through sodium at -272oF?

    Theoretically then you should be able to see the back of your own head when cycling at night as most councils use sodium lighting although you would have to cycle in a very narrow part of the spectrum of course

    ...I think the bobble on the brightly coloured bobble hat would help to filter out other parts of the spectrum.

    Isn't Sodium near Birmingham somewhere? would be a bit parky at -272 with wind chill - buff and a skull cap for sure, over boots, long fingered gloves, the works.
    Fixed gear for wet weather / hairy roadie for posing in the sun.

    What would Thora Hurd do?

    I think you may mean Solihull - although given the resemblance its a mistake anyone could make
