Acylic should be fine, if it's an ally frame you will be using acid etch primer won't you, the normal stuff is useless on ally.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

it will work fine but £6 for postage seems very steep :shock:worst moment ever...

Yeah will be using acid etch, holy poo, didn't realise it was 6 quid postage, robbing barstewards, it's the perfect colur as well0

Probably because it's an aerosol with harmful contents so carriers might ship it separatelyPeter0

Did my last one with some Rustoluem from B&Q turned out spot on (i used hammered finish)
One can was enough.
Refurbished 3 sets of fork lowers with Hammerite, 1 with hammered black, one with hammered white, and one with smooth white.
Never bothered priming, never had a problem with the stuff, just sand down and key all the surface, quick and simple.
Most cheap paint has crap coverage and you need a squillion coats.1999 Specialized FSR Elite MAX Backbone.
