Just had to repost this from our site its such a good story-from IanS

"We have spent the day at the Manchester Velodrome for World Haemophilia Day. The main emphasis of the event was to highlight the benefits of sport for people with bleeding disorders. Alex, who is severe Factor VIII deficient the same as our son Joshua, spent the whole day talking openly about the day-to-day management of his condition and how he deals with training and competing.

His overall message to the children was that they shouldn't let anything get in the way of their sporting dreams, as long as they take sensible precautions, and that anything is possible as long as they put in the hard work. Despite him being in demand all day he went out of his way to spend time with Joshua, showing him round his bike, talking to him about his cycling and having photos taken etc., even giving him his track mits! (Though he was holding on tight to his Blood Red Haemophilia Oakleys).

Alex is such a fantastic role model for our youngsters and has definitely been an inspiration to Joshua where his cycling is concerned. "

There`s a fantastic photo of Alex with two juniors who will never forget that day.
Whats the solution? Just pedal faster you baby.
