68mm Bottom Bracket In A 73mm Frame?

I'm building up a Soul at the moment and I'm using as many of the parts off my Boardman as possible including, hopefully, the bottom bracket.

The Boardman has a 68mm BB and the Soul a 73mm. Would there be any issues if I fitted the BB to the Soul?

The Boardman one is installed with 2x 2.5mm spacers so could I just remove them and fit it without spacers??

2 spacers? Are you sure there are not 2 on the drive and 1 on non-drive? If you have 3 in total just remove one from each side.

No, definitely just one spacer each side.
