I'd like them to be light and 2.0-2.1

And reasonably priced!

Fire away.

Thx

Depends on your riding really! I run a 2.1 Nobby Nic on the back and a 2.1 fire XC pro on the front. Mainly ride in cheviot hills rather than trail centres and they have both been excellent. Nobby Nic is fast rolling and gave me much better acceleration than the black swamp I had on before. Planning to move the NN to the front and maybe get a Racing Ralph on the back.
I'm a massive fan of Scwalbe tyres but they are a bit on the pricey side!
What have you got at the minute?

    Rocket Rons or Racing Ralphs.

I have a brand new, boxed, pair of the latter in 2.1 if they're of interest? Pukka aftermarket stock, tubeless ready.

How much are you looking for? I was thinking of getting the 2.25's but if the price is right I may well be interested!!

  • I like Maxxis tyres. Hi Rollers, Advantage and Minions all seem to work.

    +1 For High Rollers
Also have used WTB VelociRaptors , great tyres if you can get hold of them. I believe CRC still do them

Never used Rons or Ralphs, but they seem to be a popular choice

Oddly, I can't seem to find my posts for the current day when using user control panel - weird.

Anyhow, I've picked this up again - thanks for the replies.

I went for Conti Explorer from Wiggle at £13-ish each.

Will let you know how they go.

I'm running Maxxis Adavantage on the front and Maxxis crossmark on the back of my anthem.

Maxxis Ignitor upfront and Crossmark on the rear of my Yeti, works really well for me.
