Stumpy carbon comp 2011 or zesty 514 2012

I know to most this will seem an obvious decision with the zesty but does anyone have an opinion on which to buy, I can get a stumpy carbon comp 2011 for £1799 new or an ex demo zesty 514 2012 for the same price.
I have test riden a stumpy 2010 and it was great fun but when i rode the zesty it was great but just didnt seem as much fun to throw around on the trail.
Also I was originally looking for a 2x10 chainset which the zesty is not but then the zesty does have a bolt through axel and internal cable routing.
So basically I know the zesty is better spec and a better deal (basically £1000 off) but the stumpy just seemed more fun to ride.
Any advice would be great... Cheers

The stumpy is a fantastic bike. Don't get too hung up on component spec or discounts, the stumpy is more fun as you say so you should go with what you're going to want to ride when you're that much too tired to get back to the car/house.0

And internal cable routing can be a PITA.I don't do smileys.

if a bike is more fun to ride then who cares about the spec? for me as long as the end result is good doesn't matter how i got there.0
