    That's what I thought when I first looked at it, mainly because that's the usual way I get to buy sardines.

    But I then I wondered what sort he had bought, because the only "guts" I've ever seen in a tinned sardine is a bit of roe(?) and certainly not nasty enough to make someone retch.


    The older I get, the better I was.
