Assos Element Zero Gilet

Any advice on the fit of these please ?
Nearly bought the intermiediate Evo long sleeve jersey in a medium but it was a bit snug.
Also nearly bought the Rapha soft shell gilet in a medium which was a nice fit but a bit warmer than I think I'd need.
How do the Gilets size up ? I'm about a 40" chest but it's coming down, thinking large to allow for spring /autumn use more than summer (the 4 weeks we tend to get !)

From my experience of ASSOS I generally go up one size to XL. I would assume that the sizing of the gilet is about the same as the evo jersey, thus I assume large would be your size. However, the sizing of the assos uno and assos ss13 jersey are actually different so you may need to do some research on sizing - check out comments on wiggle for example.

Large, I`ve got L EVO top and a Large Assos gilet is right too, similar chest size to you also
