Can anyone tell me if its realistic to climb the Parpaillon and Finestre on a bog standard road bike, with maybe 25mm tyres? Obviously, I'm only considering it if dry.

I did the Parpaillon up & down the south side on 28mm gatorskins, no luggage.
I went through the tunnel, and the other side looked to be a better surface.

Sounds doable then, cheers. Worth the effort?
  • Are you going soon? Let us know how it goes on the Parpaillon, I was thinking of heading out that way later in the year and trying to ride the pass. Cheers.
