Hello.
I've an old Kona Kikapu that's a rear shock issue. The shock itself is more or less fully compressed. I've tried to pump it up - The internal pressure rises but alas the shock length doesn't. There is some movement, but only a little.
Q: Do you think a service/parts will resolve it or am I looking at a new shock?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
The bike has given me years of pleasure so it's not leaving the garage just yet

It is likely stuck down, a quick google search will come up with lots of info on this, it can be fixed but possibly not at home.

Thanks very much for the response bennett_346. I think this is the issue.
Spoke to the LBS and am now booking in. Hopefully they can remedy... whatever the cost :-)0
