Boardman Size Advice

Hi All,
I am about to pull the trigger on a Boardman HT Pro but I am stuck between the 18 and 19" frame size. I have read all the info on here and tried both bikes and to be honest I didn't notice much difference between the 2.
I am a whisker under 6ft and my inside leg is roughly 33", I am erring towards the 18 and will mainly be riding Cannock and towpaths just want to make sure this wont cause any problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Jim

The main difference is the at the Large is 25mm longer in reach. How did that feel? You can shorten the stem, but this will quicken the handling.0

I will be honest I really could not feel any difference despite trying them both several times, the seat on the 18 was slightly further back on the rails so that may have been it.
I am leaning more towards the 18 as the reach is the same as my 19 spesh hardrock if you take into account the longer stem but then I think the 19 will be more controllable as im a bit of a noob.0 -
I'd go for the 19 - with the saddle positioned more centrally. This will put you in a more efficient position over the cranks.0

im 5'10"-5'11" and own a 2010 pro ht size large with the idea of just using it on towpaths etc, my inside leg is 32" so im just a wee bit smaller than you and i now find the pro to big for real xc on anything other than my local woods which i know like the back of my hand. On anything else i find i cant get off the back quick enough. With hindsight i'd have def got the medium instead. Think long and hard, great spec and great bike, but id prob have a lot more fun on it if it was smaller. Good luckBoardman Pro Ht 2010

Thanks for the advice guys
In the end I plumped for the 18 and it fits me just right even with the seat in the centre, in fact it looks ever so slightly bigger than my spesh 19 when side by side.
Major downer though after taking her out for a maiden voyage up the towpath I noticed a tiny dent on the rear triangle when wiping it down. I have been back to Halfords and just waiting on head office as if they deem it a safety issue they will replace the frame or if it not knock some money off, although I will try and push for a replacement.0 -
Happy days, I think you've made the right size choice. Have funBoardman Pro Ht 2010
