Corratec air tech zone vs specialized rockhopper

I'm currently thinking about getting back into mountain biking again after a a hiatus for a couple of years after my Cube Acid got stolen. I've been looking at a number of bikes and I'm very confused about whether to buy a hard-tail or a full suspension bike. Right now I've narrowed it down to either a Corratech Air tech zone 2010 (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=69531) or a Specialized Rockhopper (http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBC ... e=Mountain). Which of these bikes represent the best value? I rode my last bike for a couple of years, mostly on trails, but ventured of in the woods a couple of times.
