Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing either Cannondale Caad8 105(2011), Caad8 Tiagra (2012) or Caad10 105 (2011),
Price wise the Caad 8 105 is £100 cheaper then Caad 8 Tiagra & Caad 10 105
Is there a big difference if any between the 3 bikes.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

From memory the CAAD 8 lost the hour glass stays (which were there for better damping) for 2012, only other difference between the 8's in your list is the group set (105 being 1 higher in the range than tiagra).
The CAAD 10 is the latest frame/fork and based on the current pro bikes geometry. Probably has better wheels than the 8 too. The 8's tend to have Madison rs 3.0 wheels where as the 10's tend to have Shimano RS20 or 10 wheels (can't quite recall).
For me the CAAD 10 with 105 would be where I would spend the money if I had it especially if its only £100 different.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Yep CAAD 10 105 for me as well, without a doubt.
The CAAD8 is a nice bike though.
I'm amazed that the CAAD10 is only £100 more expensive though.0 -
+1 the 10

Where have you found the 10 for £100 more than the 8? Best I've found is the 8 with 105 for £800 and the 10 with 105 for £1000!0

Another vote for the CAD 10 - 105. Much better value.0

I just got myself a caad 10 105 for just over £1000 - it's great and probably the best long term buy of the 3 if you can afford it.0

Another 1 for the CAAD10 105 (I bought one 6 weeks ago)

Good choice
I'm 5'10 and ended up with the 56cm frame, fit is pretty good.0
