Hi guys,
I've got between £750-£1000 to spend on a new hardtail....I was hoping for some advice on what to go for. There seem to be a lot of bikes to choose from in this price range. I'd be using it for some cross country and trails along to moors and some riding around the city.
Any advice would be appreciated just after the best all rounder for the price really.

Sounds like you need the typical XC bike - take a look at the Boardman Pro from Halfords, excellent spec, good weight and highly regarded performer.0
