PM's

Why, pray tell, is a PM I sent at about 9am yeserday giving details for someone to pay for some parts, STILL sitting in my outbox at 08:30 this morning?
This is not the first time this has happened and in the past it has lost me both the sale AND purchase of SH parts due to delays in PM's being sent.
Any reason for this delay?

Don't know. The guy who wanted my front wheel still has a PM waiting in my outbox so I assume he still hasn't logged in yet. I'll let you know if it works when he does.Beer is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy :-)0 -
It's like an "email read" receipt.
Once the e-mail is read, it will move from your outbox to your sent.0 -
Andy as a test I just sent you a msg, its showing in my outbox. See if you get it please and you can reply if you want to test yours...'The hills are alive with the sounds of panting'

As Rick says, until it is read it stays in your Outbox - when it moves, you know it has been read.0

Ahh I see, but do they still get alerted via an email that they have a PM waiting?? Like most other forums??0 -
if they have got their setting to alert them to the fact. So yes and no."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
