Hi all!!

Looking at getting a new bike after I have finished uni.

I have taken a likening to the specialised hardrock pro.disc. 2011.

Is there anything else out there with equal or better spec for the price

Cheers

Lots! But what price? as it's last years model it should be being discounted by now.

Rockrider 8.1 beats it hands down.

    P.S. Specialized, not ised

    500ish mate around that price!

The Rockrider 8.1 (hardtail - no-one would suggest an FS at that budget unless the discounting was HUGE) is the 'go to' bike for a £500 budget, much better forks than the Spesh, better most other components as well.

RR's are only available from Decathlon stores, second best is the Voodoo Hoodoo from Halfords.
