Hi All ... just got back from a well muddy/wet ride and my front derailler seems seized.. can't move it by hand either.. is it knackered ? ..

You will not know until you clean it! If you are here for a bit of encouraging thoughts, it is probably full of mud and gunk, a clean will get it back to normal.

Could just be muck has got into the low stop....clean it all off and try and move it, is it stuck 'out' or 'in' or in the middle, is the cable relaxing but mech not moving, etc etc etc
Describe the problem fully and we have a chance!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Ok clean it properly.. and give it a good soaking with WD40 its still solid won't move Up as its in the granny ring position.. I've tried pulling on the cable just above the mech its still won't moveRegards Bazza

lol... i was just going to put. HEY found the problem.. there was a little stone in the mech that i couldn't see till i turned the bike over.. SORTED well happy...Regards Bazza
