Saddle woes

I'm looking for some advice on a comfortable saddle. I've had a Fizik Goby which I then replaced with a Charge Spoon. Both saddles give me a sore arse after 30 minutes riding, it feels like there I'm sitting on the a block of wood. I'm thinking I need something that a bit more cushioning as both of these saddles seem to lack that. The Selle Italian range seem popular and sound like ending of thing I'm looking for. Also the Brooks B17 everyone seems to be mad for. Any recommendations?

When I got my Gobi I thought it was the most uncomfortable thing my arse had ever encountered. But I persevered, it bedded in and now it is really comfortable.
And this is the case with brooks - they mould to you, they bed in. I would keep on with what you have for a bit.0 -
Saddles are totally personal everyone has a different shaped ar%e. For me the comfiest saddle I have ever come across is the On One Bignose. Pretty cheap so worth a try. http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/SAOOBN/on_one_bignose_saddleFig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0
