Looking for some new tyres for the summer also for a 400+ mile charity ride.
Ideal bike for the charity ride would be cyclo cross or hybrid, narrow tyres etc. However I only have my epic so thinking of furious freds to try and get a bit more speeed and reduce the energy output, make my life a little easier!
Any recommendations as I am thinking Schwalbe Furious Freds front and rear will do for summer aswell. Would need something different ih the winter but then might just swap the front to Racing Ralph.
I am pretty new to the tyre thing and mainly just do longish rides in various terain.

are those Furious Fred's semi slicks?? or is that Smart Sams?
what about something like a Maxxis Crossmark, or a Racing Ralph as you said?
