Who called the ambulance to come get me. Had a dislocated elbow and shattered the end of my radius back in next week for the metal work.

Queen Elizabeth Country Park. It's on the A3 just south of Petersfield.Never riden there but I imagine it's like Swinley with much more elevation.

Hope the OP gets well soon.

Healing vibes, and good you got found by people, rather than wolves, or the dog walkers next day :D

QECP - I'd looked up details of the place a few years back and didn't seem there was much of interest, but there's a been a fair bit of work there to build some singletrack recently as I understand. Been meaning to check it out.
  • I was riding there yesterday. Must have just missed you. Speedy recovery.

It's a short trail but some great local building there recently and the new Orange extension is sweet.

Many thanks, and glad you are enjoying it.

Eranu's one of our core team of trailbuilders at QECP, so we'll be missing him while he recuperates. Sadly, he'll be out of action at our trail launch on May 19th.

Cheers for the good wishes. Very early days so not sure how things will pan out. NHS care can't be faulted tho they were top notch.

Dunno how my bike is not seen it since crash, one of my mates has it.

Seems you get good service if you're carted there in an Ambulance. If you walk in, then expect 6 hour wait!

Anyone who hasn't clicked the link in Bartimaus's reply really should.

I had no idea the trails in QECP were that good.

I'll be heading over there for a blast when it's open (19th May I believe).

19th May is the 'official opening' of the rebuilt trail, and is part of the QE Cyclefest which takes place on 19th/20th May. But you don't have to wait until then to ride at QE - almost everything is open and rideable as we've been gradually adding new sections and upgrading the old 'Orange trail' for nearly a year now. There's only one linking section we've not sorted yet... until that bit is open you have to use a bit of fireroad to access our 'Lumberjack' section.
