Hey,

The guy whos buying my old wheelset needs to know if he'll be able to run it with his Campagnolo Centaur derailleur? Is this possible through any conversion kits or anything? Any advice will be much appreciated!

Your wheels will have a Shimano freehub which won't take a Campag cassette. There do exist cassettes with Campag spacing and Shimano splines but they aren't widely used or really ideal as far as I know.

If you are including the cassette it still won't work properly because Campag and Shimano have different cog spacing, so short answer: no.

Ambrosio do a Campag spaced cassette which fit onto Shimano freehubs. Also, Highpath Engineering do replacement sprocket spacers which will convert a Shimano cassette to Campag spacing (cost about £20).

But Aksiums are shyyyt anyway, so tell him to stop being so silly and to go and buy some Campy compatible wheels. Obermayers work I believe.

Could always fit a JTEK Shiftmate to the rear mech to work with a Shimano cassette. They work well
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.

Mavic Campagnolo freehub will make these wheels perfectly compatible.
    Look at Mavic website.

Why is he buying Shimano fit wheels if he's got a Campag drivetrain?? It's going to cost him another £40 to convert the freehub. Although I suppose he can also Ebay the Shimano freehub...
