As in the title yay or nay ?
To prevent galvanic corossion Is Carbon my safest option ? i quite fancy a thompson silver masterpeice but not sure because of GC

probably OK with precautions ; the Al post is probably anodized silver so has a protective layer--in addition to layer of Al oxide, and if use a grease layer too on post should reduce electrical contact.
Have a look at articles on galvanic corrosion and seems although theoretically Al / Ti should have a GC effect above may reduce likelihood.
Alternatively look at Carbon Cycles Exotic Ti seatposts0 -
put anti-seize on the post before fitting, it'll prevent corrosion for a long time, just refresh every year or so, or longer if you don't do many wet miles

there are other anti-seizes, with various fillers availablemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Anti seize is probably best but grease will be fine if you check it from time to time, maybe every 3-6 months? Having had a stuck post in a steel frame, I understand why you'd be concerned. Huge pain in the arse to shift.0
